I just love it here! The food is always good and made perfectly!! The owners are just wonderful and it shows through their staff! They always make you feel like you just walked into a friend's house! I can't wait to see them again!
OMG!!!! I have to say this is by far the best Family Owned Restaurant in Morris. It's the best Family Owned Restaurant in the LaSalle/Gundy County area. This is a must go to Restaurant. Now let's talk drinks. We got coffee and water yes I said it, water. You want real coffee that taste like the coffee at home, come here and the water was great why idk but it was! Now the meal we ordered was Eggs Benedict traditional and the Florentine Benedict not only was the hollandaise Sauce homemade but the English Muffins are homemade and you get 3 poached eggs instead of 2. I asked for my hash browns crispy on the outside soft on the inside and it was Perfect!!!! This Family Restaurant is a welcoming place almost like walking into Grandma's house for dinner!!!!! I love this place!! I would recommend this spot to all families and to Traveler's coming through town!!! Our waitress Tara was amazing, stayed on top of my coffee and always approached our table with her beautiful smile. Thanks Morris Pancake House!!!!!! And Tara for a great experience!!!
Everything tastes great! Home made . On point. Had a country Fritada/ scramble. Blueberry French toast. Wife had an awesome 3 cheese omelet and pancakes. Friendly service. Great price and value.
Angie the waitress is absolutely amazing!! From the moment we walked in the door , to being seated, taking our order — with a smile ,and grace Angie is quick on her feet, and quick with the menu that she Knows like the back of her hand making our pockets not have a hole but also 100% accuatate. Angie is the greatest waitress here. P.s the others are nice people and do a good job , but Angie is superb. Thanks Angie for your spectacular service.
What a great place! Rocking good food. The potato pancakes were amazing. The regular pancakes were amazing, and served with REAL BUTTER! Lexy was great and gave great service. Clean and well organized. I can't wait to be back in town to visit again! Wow! Highly recommended! Thanks Lexy! Kevin
FOOD WAS EXCELLENT! Our server was Alexis, and Alexis was amazingly tentative. Never while dining did I feel she forgot about us, she catered to our every need, while constantly checking on us to ensure our dining experience was exceptional! My Husband had the Country fried steak, I had a traditional breakfast (eggs, bacon, hash browns, and French toast) and EVERYTHING was fresh and delicious! While cashing out, I saw the owner giving a child money to play the claw machine, while the younger child was given a plushie. This place is not only Child/family friendly, but the service, and food was AMAZING! I definitely recommend, and would love to dine with this establishment in the future.
Are you craving a home cooked meal? This place has home style breakfast, lunch, and dinners. Their soups are homemade, veggies for omelettes, stir fry, and philly sandwiches are fresh, not previously frozen. You can't beat the price, plenty of food for another meal. I've never been disappointed with any breakfast. Today I ordered a chicken Philly. Plenty of chicken and it was well prepared. The chicken and shell soup I ordered was perfect and not over salted as often happens. My waitress was attentive and foretold my needs.
I love this place, 5555 Greek restaurants are always the best. Because, they serve everything, and do it well! The owners in this eatery are amazing. They have interesting stories to tell! And, they were familiar with my old stomping grounds in Chicago on Lincoln Lawrence and Western. That being said, the food was delicious, my wife is on a limited diet because of allergies. And her salad and soup was fantastic! My breakfast platter lol, was almost too big for me to finish. Portions were monstrous! My glass was never empty, and there was always some excellent conversation. I would definitely go back if I was in the area again, unfortunately we don't get through there too often. But I saw an opportunity to support a local business, and I'm happy to do so. The kindness, the ambience, the concern, the service, and the food, all at the top of the list! They even have the TVs going with the latest news and professional sports games. Stop in, you won't be disappointed. Also, if you go on Facebook, there's two different accounts for this restaurant, the new ownership has the Facebook account with the sort of chunky chef statue. That's the right one! Oh, and the bathrooms are spotless!
